Day One: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park                                                                                                            After an early morning breakfast, you will head for a westward 4hrs drive to Fort Portal - Kibale Forest National Park. Expect this journey to be an interesting one as your English speaking driver will do his best so that you enjoy the journey through the Ugandan countryside. It is a scenic drive and once again you will be reminded why Uganda is the Pearl of Africa. Arrive at Fort Portal and continue toward Kibale Forest, one of the great African rainforest research reserves, is famous for the variety of primates and it is a known area for birds. Check out more primates such as the golden monkey, olive baboons, red Colobus, white and black Colobus monkeys, grey checked mangabey and blue monkeys. After, go back to the lodge for lunch from where you will go for a guided nature walk in Bigodi sanctuary (Magombe swamp). There is plenty of birdlife, butterflies and tree species.
